Two Positions Available — Mount Arlington, NJ (1) and Frederick, MD (1).
Network Brainiacs is looking for two people to join our Support Services team—one in Mount Arlington, New Jersey, and one in Frederick, Maryland.
We're intentionally keeping this opportunity broad. You could be someone trying to break into IT for the first time, an experienced support technician, or a Network Administrator capable of independently handling complex technical issues.
Where you fall within the $35,000–$70,000 salary range depends on what you can do today. At the entry level, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, aptitude, communication skills, and desire to learn. At the top of the range, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of virtually any support issue from start to finish with minimal escalation.
How We Determine Compensation
$35,000–$45,000 · Entry Level / Junior — You may have little or no professional IT experience. We're looking for aptitude, attitude, communication skills, basic technical knowledge, and a serious desire to build a career in technology.
$45,000–$55,000 · Support Technician — You should be able to independently resolve many common support issues involving Windows and macOS, Microsoft 365, hardware, software, user administration, permissions, printers, and basic networking.
$55,000–$65,000 · Advanced Support / Systems Technician — You should be comfortable handling more advanced Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows/macOS endpoint, networking, firewall, VPN, and infrastructure issues with limited escalation.
$65,000–$70,000 · Network Administrator Level — At this level, we expect you to own complex technical issues from start to finish. You should be capable of diagnosing the problem, identifying the root cause, implementing the solution, communicating with the client, documenting your work, and closing the issue without routinely relying on someone else to solve it.
Two Offices. One Team.
During the application process, you'll be asked to select Mount Arlington, Frederick, or either location.
At Network Brainiacs, our mission is to make lives more convenient through the seamless integration of technology, driven by a passion for serving others and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
If you love technology, enjoy figuring out why things don't work, and want an opportunity where your growth can directly increase your responsibility and earning potential, we'd like to hear from you.
